Today is the first full day of drying out this month, so I took my camera for a walk, and the dog too, and found many different mushrooms popping up all over the yard! Too bad I don't like mushrooms but then again, I value my life too much to try them, but they are interesting and some are cute even!
Hi Sue......it has been awhile since I have come and left a note! I love mushrooms......I have found some really sweet shaped ones in my garden with all the rain we have been having! Just had to say hello. My life has changed since I work outside the home! Don't get to blog hop like I used to. Hugs, me
ReplyDeleteThe fuzzy ones are cute...and the other one's look like little umbrellas. I admit ...I think you have cuter mushrooms then we do in Michigan. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you - I wouldn't try them either but my goodness are they beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteLove them! The white spiky ones are beautiful.Hugs,Jen
ReplyDeleteWe've had a lot of rain here, too, and those mushrooms are popping out all over the place. I wouldn't dare to try them either!!!!! Pretty posing for a picture, though!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how many different types there are! I'd never eat one either. One year they kept popping up in our goat pen and we ended up losing a baby goat to eating them.
ReplyDeleteThey sure are interesting to look at though and I have fond memories of my angel mother having them all over our house in the 70's. Gold mushrooms "home interiors" I think and of course our green shag carpet. lol
I love fungi and yours looks so fancy indeed...perhaps a small toad or fairy living beneath.
ReplyDeleteThis is cool!
