Tasty Tuesday

Farewell summer, fudge season is here! Now, I almost always make fudge for the holidays and even though autumn isn't a holiday, it is a season worth celebrating and that means it's fudge time! And, fudge comes in all flavors now including pumpkin, so make a batch for yourself while you pass out halloween candy, paired with a cup of coffee, melts in your mouth!

Pumpkin Fudge

3 c. sugar
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. canned pumpkin
2 T. karo syrup
1 t. pumpkin pie spice
12 oz. bag white chocolate chips
7 oz. jar marshmallow cream
1 c. chopped pecans
1 t. vanilla

Line a 9 in. square pan with foil and spray with non stick spray. Stir together first 6 ingredients in a heavy duty pan over med. heat and cook, stirring for about 12-14 min. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients and blend well. Pour into prepared pan, allow to set up for 2 hours before cutting into squares.

  4. I have never tried pumpkin fudge, I was wondering if this is a smooth consistancy or a bit grainy? I may be stuck in a time warp as if it's not chocolate it ain't fudge:) Love the Fall decorations. I'm on it!
    Blessings, Roxy
