One of my local greenhouses was a having a 3 day sale, everything was half off so you know I had to buy something, I was there 2 days out of the three. I'm attracted to purple flowers the most, I just love purple passion flowers too, this one is from my old place, seeds my Dad sent me from California. I miss this vine the most. But thankfully there are alot of purple flowers to choose from, some you look at in awe and wonder how can anyone not believe in God? What's your passion flower?
Today is the last day for any chance of rain and we've had rain most everyday for a week. With this 20% comes humid weather, too humid for May so were back on the roller coaster ride called Mother Nature, will it ever be normal again? I wish you all a good gardening season, full of purples, blues, reds and yellow happy flowers! Rejoice in the passion!
We have certainly had a fair share of rain, this year.
ReplyDeleteIt has been cloudy, sunny, cloudy, sunny etc etc, for most of today and yesterday. I think the rain is finished for now, though. J has spent the day at Aunt Ruth's working in her gardens.
I think it might have been wetter here, this time, last year. I just looked through some of my old posts and saw that Dave the farmer next door has his fields planted a couple of weeks ahead of last year.
Your gardens sound so nice. Is there any way you can go back to your old house, to collect seed, from the new owner? We lost lots of things when we sold the farm. Then, all the trees and evergreens J planted were bulldozed. Had we known that, we might have negotiated for a gorgeous blue spruce, that J rescued from the Walmart dumpster and nurtured into a beautiful speciman.
Hope you're week is wonderful, Rosemary!
Make that your week, not your're!

ReplyDeleteOur weather is crazy too. 90 for 2 days and 40 -50 for the next 3 days. The weather sure has changed since we were little!
