The Christmas House
Next to the Gnome Garden sat a old barn that now holds antiques and Christmas inspiration galore! I feel in love with a old bakers hutch, you know the kind that has the drawer for flour and all kinds of neat space for everything you needed to bake with. I've always wanted one, and this one was tucked inside displaying Christmas cheer all about, now I'm getting in the mood to decorate for the holidays! I even bought some Christmas cards today, it was Walmart's fault, playing holiday music loud and clear, with the store all decked out already. And you bloggers who have beat the rush and transformed your blogs into winter wonderlands with Christmas backgrounds! I just love this time of the year, I know, I'm sounding like a broken record here, but I do! Fall is so amazing! Thanksgiving warms our soul with gratitude making way for Christmas, the season of hope. People are just happier around the holidays, they give more, are more polite. Just too bad Christmas couldn't be year round!
I got to thinking, I'd like to do a Christmas card swap here, if enough of you are willing and wanting? Just leave a comment here saying you'd like to be included in the card swap, it means you will send a Christmas card to each name on the list that I will send you once it's closed. In return, you should receive that same number of cards back, from your bloggy buddies. What better way to share the season? I love sending and receiving cards, makes the walk to the mailbox much better! I'll also be hosting another giveaway soon and more recipes will be featured too. I'll leave the card list open till Nov. 15th giving us plenty of time to prepare the cards for their journey.
Today, I'm grateful for friendships, old and new. They mean so much, I cherish them all, and yours is such a blessing. I can't imagine life without friends, could you? Bloggers are extra special, I'm honored to share the web with you fine folks!

Sue,
ReplyDeleteMy little budget won't support this endeavor, but I think it's a great idea. Hope you have lots of fun with it. xxoo
Sue, I loved reading this post! You really have a way with words.
ReplyDeleteThe card swap sounds like fun, but I am already stretched so thin that I can't participate. I wish I could though! I hope lots of others will join in.
Have a great weekend!
