Today I'm ever so thankful for all the men and women alike who served our great country and paid the highest price to do so. I thank you all for your courage, time, hope and dedication to help keep us all free. My Dad served in the Navy during war time, my oldest son served in the Marines during peace time, both served to protect us! I'm grateful to you all, bless the Veterans everyday!
My thoughts are with Dad today. He was very proud of being in the Navy. I can see him smiling.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Sue! My brother served in Vietnam, Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He also did tours of duty in Hawaii and Germany. My thanks to every man and woman who served/serves for our freedom. xxoo
