Another Sunday means another flower photo to share. I choose my passion flowers today because they remind me of my Dad, and they are just cool flowers! Enjoy!

I have several passion flower vines in my yard also. They are just amazing plants. Here the gulf fritillary butterflies use them as their host plant..laying eggs on them around late September/to early October. The caterpillars that hatch out then go to town devouring the leaves.
They are cool flowers, so beautiful, and reminding you of your dad makes them even nicer!!gotta love the name too!! I have always wanted to grow a passion flower vine!
It is a way cool flower and a great way to remember your dad.
