March Madness Giveaway!!

I don't know about you, but I"m itching to get in the garden and play in the dirt!! March is a big plan to do month, preparing the beds, buying the stock and planning all the spring projects, my list is so long already! I've been wanting to do another giveaway to thank my many followers so this is it! My idea of March madness has nothing to do with basketball, but all to do with gardening! So, I'll put together a giftie of some sorts with the green thumb in mind, to give you a taste of spring time gardening.
Now, this giveaway is just for my followers, because that number of very special people just keeps growing, like weeds, but if you truly like my blog enough to follow me, then please do become a follower, but don't do it just for the giveaway, that's not fair to the others! The only other requirement is that you leave a comment here telling me what spring themed project you have on your list! It's that easy, and I know if your into gardening at any level, or just love your home enough to improve it, I know you have a list started by now! You have till midnight March 1. I'm excited to see what you have in mind! Hurry up March!!

  1. I've been following a while through Google Reader.
My Spring plans are to get out and plant. I have two small garden spots turned over and waiting for seeds. I plan on doing 2-4 more (4x4 spots) depending on time and ambition. I usually have more ambition then time. I also want to get started on a shade garden(s), my yard needs more flowers. :)

  2. Hi Sue
My biggest plan for spring is to re-do our deck. The railing is rotting and need either replaced or gotten rid of. But, we're stuck until it warms up.
I've been a follower for quite a while!

  3. I am so ready to be in the gardens getting dirty. I have been busy getting a couple more garden beds dug and ready for flowers.

My projects: to complete the two beds I've started already and put in a rose bed. Also making some cement deco stepping stone squares to put into the gardens. A major undertaking is to plant these gardens and to me that is the hard work. I am already a follower on your blog.

  9. Hello Sue :)

Thanks so much for entering me in your sweet giveaway. Oh I have many projects! I am planning on vegetable garden right now (unfortunately our date to plant is after Memorial Day which drives me nuts having to wait so long!) I really want to work on incorporating more medicinal herbs and herbs for teas in my gardens too. I'm still hoping for a clothesline too!

Have a great day Sue and thanks again!

  11. Sue, I love blog giveaways. :) I have plans to work in our yard and get it in order. We got hit hard a few times with cold weather this winter down here in Florida. We have some dead foliage and maybe some plants that need care. Smiles, Paula

Well... if we can ever get closed on our purchase of the Farmhouse.. I would like to clean up around the creek bed that ponds out at the front of the side yard... Its really over grown and I have seen pictures of when it did look really well kept from several years ago..

  15. I need to get out to my raised bed gardens to till, weed and prepare the soil for spring planting of veggies and herbs. Also need to install my two new raised beds and prune my fruit trees and berry canes. Lots of work to be done and it is still winter weather here. Thanks for doing a garden themed give-a-way!

  16. We are building a potting bench........saw the picture on one of the blogs I frequent. It has a dry sink look on the top with a large enough "sink" part to hold a nice size tub of ice if we wanted to use it for holding ice and cold drinks at party time. It has a shelf on the bottom for holding pots and small tools. There is a ledge on the top for holding whatever needs holding.....FUN!
PLEASE add my name to the drawing pot. Thanks

  17. I've been reading your blog the winter through. I enjoy everything you offer. My springtime planning is to start a worm bin, plant potatoes in a bucket and try a spiral garden for the herbs AND get the grass out of my strawberry patch!!! :) Would love to have my name added to the garden pot. Thank you.
