First Day....
Of spring, finally! It's been a long wait but without winter, there would be no spring, so I guess we must muddle through those winter woes so we can rejoice in all the delights of spring! Many shrubs are blooming on my hill like the one above, red, yellow and white blossoms dot the landscape all around. Such a wonder time!
So, as promised, I think since today is the first day of spring, it's a perfect time to host a Easter giveaway, don't you? This will be simple, all I ask is when you sign up for this giveaway that you tell me what your favorite Easter candy is? Mine are black jelly beans, I wait all year for them, used to be I could find them during Halloween but the last year or so, Walmart didn't carry them for Halloween just Easter, so I stock up! lol I love black licorice but the black jelly beans are my all time favorites! So, share your favorite sweet of the season and do so by March 27 when I'll have hubby pick a number for the winner! Good luck to all and get outside today and take a look around for your first signs of spring...oh happy day!

ReplyDeleteMy fave Easter candy are the easter eggs with filling. And then esp. the soft filled ones, yumm.
I never had them but since my fave candy of all time is the Reese's cups (not here, duh) I guess the Reese's eggs would be TOO DIE FOR!!!!
Please enter me in your give away.
Hugs from Marian/Dutchy on MJF
I am a chocoholic, there I've admitted it. I always loved the chocolate bunnies, and the Dove candy, and lately I've been enjoying the Butterfinger Eggs. Oh, those are so good! Wow, that's more than one but I can't pick just one. Thanks for having this drawing! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh so many choices - I love the Dove chocolate anything - so soft and creamy. ONe thing I don't care for is those Cadbury eggs - with that yolk in the middle - looks too much like a raw egg. :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy spring to you, too! I can not wait for the warm weather to stay and the trees and flowers to bloom.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Easter candies are the candy coated Hershey eggs. That's what I use for my blog header picture! I also love Reese's peanut butter eggs. Yum!
Have a great spring day, Denise
Malt ball eggs. I just finished a bag. Those and a very close second would have to be black jelly beans. Please enter me in your give away. Happy Spring!!
ReplyDeleteHey there Sue, I would have to say mine are those colored whopper egg things that you lick and they will color your lips...they are in pastels...I love to give myself blue, yellow, and green lips and then of course devouring them...have a wonderful weekend..:)

I have to say that Peeps are my favs. Only one time a year, too. that makes them special.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the pastel colored jelly beans, the soft ones are best, but I especially look forward to the cute little Marshmallow Peeps every Easter. I enjoy them fresh and soft, but prefer them when they get a bit stale and chewy. Thanks for having this give-away, and Happy Spring to all!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite used to be the black jelly beans, but I think I got the seven year itch and now my absolute favs are those Reese's Peanut Butter eggs..hm...I have to hide them around here tho..hehe..(They are my Dad's & my Hubby's favorite too--YIKES!!)
ReplyDeleteHappy First Day of Spring--Yay!It is finally here!!
(Doing a happy Spring dance here..lol)

My very, very favorite sweet of the season is chocolate covered coconut cream Easter eggs. I use my Mother In Law`s recipe. Yummy!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring! My favorite Easter candy are the Cadbury Creme Eggs! The ones that look like a real egg inside. They are so sugary though I can only eat half! lol Thank you for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Allison
Happy first day of spring. It's nice to be through with winter! My favorite Easter candy is chocolate eggs with pink filling inside!
ReplyDeleteSue, you are just like my Mom was. She adored black jelly beans and would make us giggle by showing us her tongue after she ate them. :)Being diabetic I have to watch my numbers, but I risk it when they bring out the marshmallow Peeps. I do limit myself to just one though and eat it very slowly to savor it. I guess I could just eat regular marshmallows, but there's just something about a Peep that gets me every year. Good luck to everyone in the giveaway! xxoo
ReplyDeleteSpring is definitely coming and I look for the malted milk eggs that appear this time of year. They are one of my favorite treats. Thanks for the giveaway-gotta go shopping for some Easter candy now.
ReplyDeleteHey Sue! I like jelly beans, but not the black ones! LOL! My favorite Easter candy is chocolate covered marshmallow eggs! I just love them.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that spring is finally coming to your neck of the woods. We have had perfect weather this entire week. But I still dread the heat moving in.
Have a great weekend!
Well I don't know what my fave Easter candy is. Hmmmmm!! I do love Licorice Jelly beans at all times. When the kids were little I would buy jelly beans and the bigger 9Mid size) eggs and at night scatter them all over the living room and dining room floor (it was all on long room) and tell the the easter Bunny just came hippity hopping through.
ReplyDeletePlease add me to you spring fling thing. MB
So many choices, so little time. Hummmm I guess my favorite is the chocolate eggs with marshmallow filling. Remember mallo-cups?I can't help but buy them even though my kids think they're kinda gross...I love them!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog it's so very pretty and girlie.
Sue,
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring to you too! I'm fond of malted milk balls - I think I like them better then jelly beans.
Thanks for the giveaway fun:)
