I've got the best mailman ever! He's been busy bringing me gifties this week, just look at what's come in the mail, I haven't had to walk down the hill all week! The valentine apron is from a farmgirl and so are most of the valentines in the basket. I won the oil painting from a bloggy giveaway, the detail is awesome, I only wish I could paint that well! And yesterday to my surprise, the embroidery pillow cases arrived from yet another farmgirl with the biggest heart, I've been overwhelmed by the kindness that has been sent my way!
I saw a robin yesterday and by mid afternoon I had many foraging for worms in the yard after a warm rain, spring has to be near.....Walmart has their bare root roses out, I grabbed a pretty yellow climber, I couldn't resist! Do you have any signs of spring yet?
Lovely gifts and wins you have there! Signs of spring are in my yard. The Desert Poppy`s are getting green and birds are having babies. We will have a beautiful wildflower display this spring thanks to all that wonderful rain. I saw geese flying north. It`s all wonderful.

We had 60 degree weather today, but are expecting rain tonight and a wintery mix this weekend. Our weather is so screwy lately ... warm then cold, then warm then cold. ReplyDeleteWe have daffodils and tulips poking up through the snow on the ground. Last week was warm and dry. This week we have rain and snow.

ReplyDeleteWhere I live the only sign of spring is that the temperature has been above 0C for more than 24 hours!!! Yeah. I'm really looking forward to the return of the spring birds and to hear the sweet chirps.

Hey there Sue, you got some beautiful treasures there...we have our tulip bulbs and hyacyths(?) and little white bell bulbs plants. not sure what they are called..so yeah just little things..love it though..have a wonderful rest of your week...:)

ReplyDeleteIt feels like spring here, to my utter dismay. I'm not ready for the heat & humidity that comes with it at all yet. Down here, we hardly have a spring, it's like it jumps right into summer. :(
