Christmas Cookies

Oh what fun it is........to bake cookies with the grandkids! Yesterday was our annual cookie baking day for Christmas delights, some gingerbread, some sugar, all fun to watch and eat! With holiday music playing in the background and kids playing in cookie dough, the afternoon was spent cutting out cookies and keeping the little ones from eating the dough! But what a fun tradition, just look at those faces!

We ended up with over 4 dozen Christmas cookies so Santa will have plenty to snack on at each house this Christmas eve! I just love traditions, and I hope this one will be passed along for generations to come! The Christmas craft show wasn't as good as it has been so we were a little disappointed in that but we had a cookie afternoon to make up for it! Hope everyone had a fun weekend too!

Coming up this week, a winner in the Holiday Hot Cocoa giveaway, you have till the 10th to get signed up. I'll also be hosting another giveaway just for my followers, a little token of thanks for following my blog, I get excited every time I see a new face added so I wanted to celebrate you all! So, stay tuned and enjoy the season and if you haven't baked cookies with children yet, do it soon! You will make their day!

  4. Somehow cookies never come out quite the same if you haven't had some children's hands in there! Looks like they had a grand time, I'm sure they'll remember you doing this with them and will carry on the tradition.

  6. Hi Friend Sue,
I'm sorry about your craft fair. I've heard other crafters with similar experiences this year. Maybe next year?

I think your cookie day is great. I hope to do something like that with my grandchildren someday.
