The Day Before the Day

Are you busy too? This is not a good time to feel like a slug, but that is how I feel today, you know, that time of month.....it almost makes me wish menopause would hurry up and get here so I can get past this uncomfortable time. There is too much to do to even stop and think about it, I'm craving chocolate though! I can't believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving already, time really does pass faster the older you get, why is that? I'm doing the baking today, and a little of the cleaning, will do alot of cleaning while the turkey is cooking tomorrow. I was glad to see so many tea lovers, and again, surprised at all the different teas out there, I guess it depends on what part of the country you live in. This will be a fast giveaway so to make room for a hot cocoa giveaway too, but you have till Dec. 1 to sign up and pass it along.

Today, I'm ever so thankful to live in THIS country, where I enjoy the countryside like this old barn, it's on our place. I've been lucky enough to have traveled from one coast to the other with alot more places yet to see. This country is amazing and I'm grateful to call the United States and Missouri home, sweet home!

  3. Oh Friend Sue,

I share your love for living in Missouri. I've lived in Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri as an adult. I'm very glad this is home!

I so understand your feelings. I had a h....ectomy several years ago. It's no fun to slam into menopause quickly either. ~grin~

May God give you the oomph you need to get going and the comfort of some nice rich dark chocolate...for medicinal purposes of course!

    Happy Thanks Living!

  12. Hope you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. Well, you've been forewarned--I think we women crave chocolate forever! Guess it could be worse, could be sardines or something moreawful, lol. Be good to yourself.
