This was the first American Idol we got into, mainly due to reruns of our favorite shows, but I'm so glad we tuned into the whole event because a Missouri boy won! I liked David Cook from the beginning along with Michael Johns and Brooke White but the closer it got, I knew David Cook would win, and I'm so happy for him! He really deserves this too, being older than the other David, he's been working harder and longer for this break, plus he's from my great state of Missouri, just a down home boy! Congrats to David, and Missouri!!! Now, I"m anxious for Nashville Star to begin in a few weeks, we don't miss that one!
I was rooting for David Cook too and am so glad he won. I also liked how they billed the last show as being David vs David. What a play on words. :)

We didn't watch it but I'm glad the MO guy won since that's my great home state too! I'm always rooting for MO! I can't wait for Nashville Star-mainly b/c I like Billy Ray and I'll admit Miley/Hannah Montana so I know she'll make an appearance or two I'm sure-but I do like it better than Idol-sorry it's just I'm a little more country than rock n roll!
ReplyDeleteI was so excited David C won! I chose him weeks ago. He is so talented and mainstream. But after watching the finale, I worried that David A had a better night. I was shocked and jumped off my couch when they announced David C, lol! I do not get TNN on my cable, unfortunately. I would love to watch Nashville Star. Miranda Lambert is one of my favorite female country stars and she won Nashville Star!
