During our extra day off today, let's not forget to remember all the service women and men, past and present, who took the job to serve and protect. My family has ties to the Navy and the Marines so I make sure to support the day. So enjoy the family cookout or get together, but remember to honor the day and those who fought to allow us to enjoy it.
Amen! My ties are to the Army and Navy. I'm thankful my brothers and other family, much older now, came home safe and sound. I still remember all those who have gone before in the defense of our freedom. May they rest in peace knowing their job was well done and appreciated by all.
