Change is Good!

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter, as I did. Sunrise service was chilly so we ended up staying inside but the message was still special and afterwards the church family cooked, served and feasted on a wonderful breakfast. What a weekend! A second offer on our house came in Saturday morning giving us till yesterday to accept or to pass, so our realtor notified the lady who made the first offer back in Aug. and she traveled all Easter Sunday to get here and after looking at the house and acreage again, with her son, she wrote up a contract and we close on May 19th, finally! I can't tell you what a comfort it is knowing we have a final date and can look for our next home sweet home. Now, the real work begins, sorting, packing and moving 14 years of stuff! But it's a good feeling and change is good, I"m looking forward to more space, a craft room, a playroom for the grand kids, a shop for hubby and a big yard for gardens and flowers. I've been using the book "The Secret" to get the house I feel in love with last May, so I'll let you know if it works. So far, the book has inspired me to keep the faith alive and well, alot of light bulbs went off while reading it, so we will see. Faith is all it takes, just sometimes we need a boost elsewhere to remind us. Spring is here, all the flooding is starting to recede and everything is beginning to green up! Change is coming, good things do come to those who wait!

  1. Are you moving to a new house in the same area, Sue? Or are you relocating to a new town?

    What wonderful news, Friend Sue!
I am so very happy for you. We have spent years of our married life trying to sell houses. It's hard, emotionally, physically, financially.

I'm glad you're moving on. I hope you are very happy in your new home.

May God shower his blessings upon your family.
