Giant cupcakes & Wish lists

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving as we did, and I want to thank those who sent cards, you know who you are, thank you! Away goes the fall decorations and out comes the tons of Christmas goodies, I got my gingerbread man tree set up in the dining room yesterday but the house is a mess with boxes of garland, ornaments and such. It will take me a week to do the whole house, having to fit in work too! But I love this time of the year and I'm like a kid when it comes to opening up all the boxes holding all my treasures. I was sad to see one broken, the cutest Christmas cookie jar that I got from my sister last year, sorry sis! My hubby has been bugging me to make my wish list so he has some idea on what to get me. Each year it gets harder and harder, but I did find one thing that is a must have, a giant cupcake pan! This beauty will be perfect for family birthdays, but so far it can only be found online and we don't shop online. So, if anyone knows where else this cupcake pan can be had, PLEASE let me know, I just gotta have one! It's rumored that Michael's has them, if so, I"m only 2 hours away from one! What's on your wish list this year, please share, I may have to steal a idea or two!

I'm sending out some bloggy love to Beachy over at Beachyscapecodcupbroad.blogspot.com who was my cookie cutter swap partner in my last swap that I hosted. I'm eager to try out this big reindeer cutter, it's beautiful! And the vintage tea towel is too nice to use and in my favorite color too! Thank you SO much Beachy for my new treasures, I love them! I have one more partner to brag about so stay tuned! I better get a little more decorating done so we have room on the table to ear dinner tonight! Ta Ta and happy decorating to all!

  5. I love the copper reindeer cookie cutter, Sue!

We're finished with decorating. We are going to KC, this weekend and the following weekend is full of things to do, so we got busy and did the decorating. I love it though...I love the lights and seeing the ornaments again. Some are very old and fragile. We had a couple of broken pieces this year.

You might find your giant cupcake pan at Crate and Barrel or Williams Sonoma online. I'd say they are pricier than Michaels though. You can usually find unusual bakeware, etc at those two stores, though.

    Happy decorating! Pat

...I'll be going by Michael's soon and I'll check there too...If you get a cupcake pan you'll have to post a photo of the cake you made.
...Have fun decorating! Gotta play Christmas music while you're decorating too! ;o)
    ...Blessings...

If you have no luck finding one nearby, my husband works for a chain of 28 privately owned hardware stores and that is where I GOT MINE! I love mine and use it for many purposes, the most recent of which was for mini-meatloaves!

I also got a pan that was similar: mini-loaves at the same hardware store! I love that thing, too!

If you end up needing some from Michigan let me know and I would be willing to ship them to you.
