Super Easy & Fast

Sure doesn't describe me these days, more like hobble, hobble till you give out! lol I've had this Facebook post saved for sometime in hopes of making one for the 4th of July, this year! But, I'm not going to make it but some of you may, it's a  super easy and  fast project and if you have a dollar store near by, I found they sell bandana's in a pack of 2 or 3, depending on the store! Perfect for this sewing project which can be colored themed for many occasions!

I go to the orthopedic surgeon on Monday so see what he suggests I do about my knee, from what others have told me and the little research I've done, I sure don't want the cartilage removed, so please keep me in your prayers and positive thoughts as I decide what step is next for me and my knee. And if you have been through this yourself, I'd love to hear about your experience and thoughts! I never realize how popular this ailment was, or how much I took my knees for granted! This too shall pass....hopefully soon, I have tons of weeding to do!

  1. Love the bandana table cloth! I have a torn meniscus, is that what they told you? Mine is torn cartilage on the inside of my right knee, completely detached (I got mine playing with the dog). I saw an orthopedic surgeon who told me 80% if women will tear one before they are 50. And surgery was up to me. I didn't think she was very helpful. So I got a second opinion. This dr told me there was no fixing mine. There is no blood flow to cartilage, it doesn't heal. Basically, what's done is done. She could remove the damaged tissue and that would take care of the pain. Honestly, by the time I got the second opinion, my pain was much less. So, for now, I choose to live with it. For me, not worth having surgery at this point. I can always go back, and get it fixed later. Sorry about the long comment. Good luck!

My sister has horrible knee problems. What is so amazing is that they can do stem cell cartilage re-growth for dogs out in CA, but not for humans yet. I'm sure it is coming soon though!

She swims in a heated pool at the Y and gets massages.

Good luck and hope you are feeling better soon! Adorable baby pup!!:)

  5. Prayers for you....I have had knee surgery to remove a torn cartilage. It worked for me, but it's always best if you don't have to have it done.
I sure like the table cloth....very creative.
