We too had a white Christmas, nothing compared to what some got, just a dusting but it's so cold that it feels more like Alaska than Missouri. I always take down the trees the weekend after just so I can start the New Year off fresh and clean so that is what I'm working on now, and even though we had a wonderful Christmas, it's time to get the house back to normal and do some deep cleaning. I'm ready for 2010 and looking forward to new beginnings. I've got alot of giveaways planned, plus some more swaps and recipes galore, so stay tuned! I'm really excited about a Valentine swap coming up very soon!
I too need to pack away Christmas, but its so pretty! I hate to do it already :(

ReplyDeleteYes, Oklahoma got dumped on with a Christmas Eve blizzard. 14" of snow here in OKC. The winds were wicked and I think the drifts will be with us for a while. Blizzards are not normal for this state, but I must say that it was amazing how quickly everyone pulled together to rescue people that were stranded, shelters were opened and roads being cleared around the clock. A Christmas to remember for sure!

love your new look...and congrats to Cathy..our next door neighbor just got back from Oklahoma and he said it was the worst storm on record that he has ever seen..mind you he is in his mid 20's...but he couldn't go and see some of his family members due to the weather...have a wonderful monday and getting your home back in order..:) it does feel good..:)
