Day 29 of a month of me is full of excuses, none that really matter, but I failed to go the distance and complete the whole month of me, but hey, I maybe 50 but I'm human! I've been busy, the grandkids have been playing T-ball for the last month with Friday night being the last game and then on Saturday, a little program was compiled in their honor with each receiving a little trophy, it was so cute! Then on Saturday we took off to Arkansas for a nice dinner with the kids, it was SO hot, when we got home, we mulched the raised beds and sweated so much, it was unreal! But yesterday we woke to a light rain and back to normal temps so everyone's spirits have been lifted and it's a pleasure to go outside again!

While blogging this morning, I came across this sweet treat that I knew you would want to try, and if your not a fan of The Farmchicks yet, you will be after reading their charming blog, you can find the recipe for these 4th of July treats there. It is time to think about the 4th isn't it? Were having a 4th of July bash here, a cookout, bon fire, fireworks and good times with family & friends, I wish you lived closer!

I've enjoyed posting everyday, and although I won't be able to keep it up, I am gonna post more often, it does get easier to find things to post about when your committed to do so. And I'm enjoying reading all about your summer projects, reading and gardens........life is good, isn't it!

  3. I have had a wonderful time getting to know 'a month of you.' You're so interesting and have lots of tips and good things to share.

Yes, wish I did live closer because I LOVE fireworks. I don't get to see the ones at the Harbor too much, unless someone goes with me. Not good to be out in the 'big harsh' alone at night.

Hope you have lots of fun at your cookout on the 4th. xxoo

  4. Sometimes I dont know what to blog either. I have two, one open to only friends and one food one, public. But I wander around the blogs online and sometimes something inspires me to write. If I have time I do it then...if not, Ive made file of blog ideas for when I do have the time to develop a really good one. Maybe you could do that too if you want to do it often. But this was a fun month and it was nice to get to know you abit.

  6. The treats look great, Sue.

We are certainly enjoying the cooler temps. We heard they will be around all week.

I don't think I could possible post every day. I have been posting more, since Spring, with an average of 4 per week. Good for you for giving it a try!
