Ozarks or Oz?
From winter to spring in one weeks time, life in the Ozarks! Last Tuesday we were dealing with icy roads and way below normal temps, dipping down to 4 one night, today it's in the mid 60's, sunny and feels like spring! Needless to say, our weather this whole year has not been normal, very odd and strange even at times? But the old saying goes, give the weather 5 minutes and it'll change. So, I'm enjoying the sunshine and are the flowers in my craft room, my purple Violet is smiling, can you see it? Today's weather has me thinking about spring and planning a garden, I'm ready. But, I have plenty of time. I'm still winding down from the holidays, and gearing up for January, and a brand new year to unfold. What is it about a new year that makes you want to get organized? We've been here for 6 months now and the closets need my attention already, along with the cupboards. I guess that is what January is for, time to get the house in order before spring, does anyone else feel like this? I know I live in the Ozarks but sometime it feels like Oz?

Yes, Sue, I feel exactly the same way. Since Christmas I do believe I spent about 20 hours cleaning and reorganizing. My husband keeps staring at me like he's not sure what's wrong with me! LOL But I do feel this inexpressible desire to get things in order. I'm glad it is not just me!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you. This will be your first springtime in your new home. Its like a blank canvas awaiting your touch!
Wishing you a very happy and joy-filled New Year with happy surprises around every corner!
Love,
Lea

ReplyDeleteI am feeling the same way. Our weather has been like Spring all month and I'm itching to get things started with setting up my craft area. I know my apartment is small, but I should just have enough room for it. Now I need the energy to actually get it done. This year has been a little rough with the loss of our Dad, but I'm dealing with it as best I can.
ReplyDeleteI want to do so many things now that I know retirement is coming in 6 years. I cannot wait for that! Then I can do everything I've always dreamed of doing.
A healthy and prosperous New Year to us all! It's been nice sharing this year with you too. xxoo
Hey Sue; I feel the same way, I am going to do a lot of cleaning and re organize some rooms. I am going to finish paining my family room then move on to the dinning room. So far that is it but I am sure I can find more.. lol
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
