Library, Part 2

There's something comforting about books, isn't there? For myself, just having such treasures is a gold mine, always handy for reference, mental escape or just a lazy afternoon read. I love my books!

And I'm blessed to have a special place for them, hubby used the new room the other evening to look through his hunting books, gearing up for the season. The old rocker isn't too comfy, so I will keep my eye open for a more comforable chair, but till then, this one will do. I still have a wall to play with, can't leave it bare but the room is complete, as is the dream.

How nice that you have this library room, wish I had one because like you, I LOVE books. I have just recently ordered 4 new books and have 4 yet that I need to read. Who are your favorite authors?

Your husband hunts also, does he bow hunt?

  3. Sue,
This room looks great too! I'd love to have one room for all the books ~ sure would be easier to find what you are looking for.
Well, I'm done with the painting part in my dining room and on to the living room. (visiting you is giving me the encouragement to keep on going!)
    Thanks,
    Cathy

  6. I like those kind of rockers, but I could be comfortable anywhere. Thanks for taking us further into the library. It looks so welcoming and quiet just like the real thing. xxoo

  7. Yes, Sue, there is something comforting about books. Even their smell is nice, isn't it? I surround myself with books. There are bookshelves and when I run out of space, they stack nicely beside the bed or under a table.

Your library is wonderful. I am so very happy for you.

    Smiles,
    Lea
