Fall Decorating
On Monday I got serious about digging out my tubs of fall decorations, yes, I said tubs, 3 in fact. And I keep adding to them, I just can't help myself, fall is my favorite time of the year, have I mentioned that? Here is my black hutch all decked out in cozy colors, pumpkins and scents of the season. It's not done just yet, but I wanted to share it with you, since decorating for fall is alot like a celebration, I'm honoring the season!
I love my treasures, and I'm really happy with the way they look in this black hutch. I don't decorate for Halloween anymore, no kiddos at home but fall decorating just makes the whole house feel warm and cozy. I even hung some fall berries on the light fixture, a first for me! Next comes the dining room table, I want to make a fall runner but not sure yet? Tomorrow I'll post about my giveaway so get your answers ready! The question: What is your #1 fall scent?

Lovely Fall decorations Sue! I love the scent of cinnamon and other sweet spices in the Fall and around the holidays. I also love the scent of cool crisp air that surrounds us this time of year.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue,
ReplyDeleteNow see you have me all geared up to go and get some more fall things up around here. All yours looks so nice!
I saw your Tasha Book, what a nice gift. I have lots of her books but not to many of the Children's ones. I always look while at the thrift and hope to find one.

ReplyDeleteThat header is gorgeous!! Okay, your decorations are so welcoming. It all says comfort. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteYour house looks good. My fall sent is pumkin I think, it smells so good and tasty to.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed your blog, will be back. Your fall decorations are so nice and warm looking. Fall is my favorite season of them all as well. My favorite scents for this time of year is cinnamon, clove and pumpkin--make a yummy potpourri with mini pumpkins that is fabulous. After the scent lessens from being open to the air for a month or so, it makes a great simmer potpourri on the back of the woodstove!
