Old Fashioned Valentines Swap

Here I go again, I can't help myself! Last year over at MaryJanes Farm, I hosted a handmade Valentine card swap, we had over 40 girls sign up, make and send some of the prettiest cards I've even seen! Ever since, I've been hooked on making my own cards and just couldnt' wait to do this swap again. So, it's began at the farm and I wanted to give my bloggy friends a chance to join in the fun too! So, I'm hosting a old fashioned Valentines card swap for you all too. All you do when you sign up, is get a list of names and address for which you will make a valentine for each person. This can be anything your little heart desires, I've posted the album I made last year to hold all my sweet valentines in and a page for some ideas. I'll also be posting another photo soon of more ideas and of the book I"ll be giving away to all who enter the swap, just to sweeten the pot a little and in time to whip up something yummy for Valentines day! So check back tomorrow for that surprise!
I know it maybe a bit early to be thinking about Valentines day, esp. since we all just made it through the holidays, but February will be here before we know it and what better way to brighten a winters day than to go to the mailbox and see a handmade card from a friend. Plus, it keeps your creative juices flowing and you will be sharing apart of your talent with someone else. I know my little album from last year will be over flowing with friendship, a keepsake to treasure! So, if this sounds like something you'd like to do, just let me know. I'll be taking names till Friday, Jan.4th. Hope you will discover the way to a friends heart is through her mailbox! lol

  2. Thanks for posting some pictures of cards you received. I have some ideas but I havent made homemade valentine cards since I was a child, so seeing others helps.
