We all have a culinary hero or two, mine would be Julia Child, who would of been 100 today! It's with many happy memories that I grew up with, watching her on television with my Mom, but it wasn't until Meryl Strep portrayed her in the movie "Julia and Julie" that I feel in love with her! Her spirit lives on in attempts to get creative in the kitchen and do it with spunk! She has inspired me and it's with fond thoughts and tasty dishes that I wish her a happy birthday today! I loved the movie with Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. I don't have a favorite recipe. So nice to acknowledge her birthday today!
ReplyDeleteShe was a unique lady...my pastor and his wife learned from her how to debone their turkey before cooking it and then stuffing it. They said it is delicious
