I cleaned it a couple of days before Thanksgiving, so it would be all shiny bright for my baking. The oven door would not come open. Nothing could be done. It shut down and wouldn't work. <br /><br />That was Tuesday night, after everything was closed. Wednesday morning I went to town looking for a stove and found one...then begged for the floor model and delivery that same day. Whew...they agreed, so I got my Thanksgiving baking done. I don't know why the oven shut down and could not be fixed, but I swore I'd never have a self cleaning oven again...well...here I am, with a self cleaning oven.
